The Experimental Weekender

Experience scientific wonders this weekend at The Museum of Science and Industry and join the team for The Experimental Weekender. Fantastic forces, superhuman strength, awesome acrobats, magic materials and groovy graphene are just some of the things visitors are can expect to see.

Car Park Rail Jam Championships 

Chill Factor^e  will build a real snow freestyle park in its car park and host the first outdoor, Car Park Rail Jam championships on Sunday 28 June. On the day, there will also be a live DJ, food, and the event is free for spectators to attend. Guests will be able to have a go at freestyle snowboarding themselves – the Freestyle Mini Park will be set up on the main slope indoors, with Freestyle Coaching sessions available for those wanting to give  it a try for the first time.

Manchester Children’s Book Festival 

For a fun free Saturday out the whole family can enjoy, pop along to the festival’s Family Fun Day at Manchester Metropolitan University. Visitors are welcome to drop in from 10am til 4pm. For more information visit mcbf.org.uk
