The very first Oldham Vintage Market will be taking place in the town’s Independent Quarter. The not-for-profit market will help to promote the Indie Quarter, with all surplus profits being donated to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Oldham. Follow the link here for more information about the event.

And here’s what our Facebook friends suggest this weekend:

Jane Parker Rothery: Love the Northern Quarter, with Manchester Craft and Design Centre, Teacup Kitchen, Bonbon chocolate boutique and Beermoth, amongst other great places. With its eclectic mix of retailers and gourmet eateries, Manchester is definitely worth visiting. I now live in Dubai, but still miss Manchester haunts.
John McEwan: I enjoy a visit to Salford quays.
Lesley Royle: I love a visit to Lark hill place in Salford.
Rachel Kershaw: Looking forward to visiting Manchester tomorrow!
Dorothy Inman: Love Manchester, simply the best
Maria Lidia Cooke Centuriòn: All the city center!

Have a great weekend enjoying Greater Manchester!
