Christmas Light Switch-On
This month Manchester will begin the countdown to Christmas with a huge celebration during the Christmas Light Switch-on. Key 103’s Debbie Mac will join celebrities and musicians for a party to light-up the entire city with a festive glow.

Christmas in Manchester is a special time, partly due to the fantastic atmosphere across the city centre generated by the Christmas Markets. A visit to this spectacular attraction with family and friends is a must this November.
Stockport Christmas Light Switch-On
Join former X-Factor star Jake Quickenden for the Stockport Christmas light switch-on Wednesday 18 November. Also part of the celebrations will be live music from a stellar line-up including ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent contestant Bailey McConnell, fresh new girl group Tiger Heart and swinging sensation Alexander Stewart.
Bolton Christmas Light Switch-On
Local actress Sammy Winward will switch on Bolton’s stunning Christmas lights in an evening celebration of family festivity.
Oldham Christmas Lights Switch-On
The Christmas lights switch on in Oldham is back with a bang! The fun kicks off at 2pm with a children’s funfair and Christmas market, and the lights will be turned on by Britain’s Got Talent stars, Old Men Grooving.
Bolton Winter Festival
From 28 November – 3 January
An enchanting winter festival is arriving at Bolton town centre this Christmas. The special seasonal programme will feature celebrity chefs, a festive market and two ice rinks.

A National Theatre award winning show, The Curious incident of the Dog in the Night Time comes to Manchester this November. The play is centred on Christopher, a teenage boy with an extraordinary brain who finds himself on a journey which will upturn his world.
English National Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet
26 – 28 November
The English National Ballet brings the world’s greatest love story to the Palace Theatre in Manchester, with an exhilarating score performed live by the English National Ballet Philharmonic.
