Here’s our guide to the best of what’s on in and around Greater Manchester this weekend plus some suggestions from our social followers.
Hydrate at Gin Festival
The UK’s largest Gin Festival returns to Manchester in its lovely new home at the beautiful Victoria Baths in Chorlton-on-Medlock. There will be over 80 different gins available and throughout the event there will be live entertainment, talks from gin industry experts, food and lots of chit chat with other gin lovers alike.
Indulge at Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival
The annual taste extravaganza is back for the 8th year running and this year visitors can expect some amazing additions to the ever popular two-day chocolate market. Ramsbottom is a great place to visit and shop so make sure you explore all the town has to offer.
Swat up at the People’s History Museum
This weekend is your last chance to make the most of ‘Museum Week 2015’ and with all the drama surrounding the upcoming elections, what better way to spend a day than learning about how our society has evolved. It’s not often that we get to choose between more than just red or blue in Manchester, the current exhibition Election! is a whirlwind history of voting in modern Britain that could help you make up your mind.
